The sudoku rules explained: the objective

The objective of the game is to populate each field in the puzzle with a number ranging from 1 to 9. This has to be done in such a way that each number appears only once per row, once per column and once per zone. Because all these elements consist of 9 fields, all the numbers between 1 and 9 should be used (once) in each element.
